Continuous Professional Development
JIS is a literacy hub and a centre of excellence for teacher continuous professional development. We use peer tutoring, mentoring and coaching to integrate new staff, and engage external resource persons to deliver training. Our director is accredited by Jolly Learning, UK, to train new and experienced teachers in Jolly Phonics, Jolly Literacy and Jolly English, and we support teachers and schools that want to work with children with special needs.
